In ancient Chinese mythology, Change's is the graceful moon goddess, known for her mysterious flight to the moon. Her story is one of love, immortality and eternal separation-a legend that has inspired poems, festivals and art for thousands of years.

The history says long ago, there were ten suns blazing in the sky, scorching the earth. The brave archer Hou Yi shot down nine of them, saving the world a reward, he received an elixir of immortality from the queen mother of the west. But Hou Yi loved his wife changes deeply and didn’t want to live forever without her.so he kept the elixir hidden

But Hou Yi loved his wife deeply and beautiful changes more than anything. He could not bear the thought of living forever without her.so instead of drinking the portion, he hid it carefully at home. Yet destiny had another plan.

One day, when Hou Yi was away, a greedy apprentice discovered the secret and tried to steal the Elixir. To keep it safe, changes quickly drank it herself. the potion lifted her from the earth-her body became light as a feather, and she began to rise higher and higher into the sky. Her heart ached to stay with her beloved husband, but the power of elixir was too strong.

Finally, change reached the moon, a place calm and silver like her spirit. There she made her home, surrounded by stars and accompanied by a jade rabbit who pounds herbs of immortality. From the earth below, Hou Yi looked up at the shinning moon and could see her graceful figure glowing softly. every year, on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, he places her favourite food and mooncakes on a table, praying that one day they might meet again.

That night of remembrance became the mid –autumn festival, a celebration of reunion and moonlight. Families to watch the moon, share mooncakes and think of the people they love far way-just like Hou Yi and changes once did.

The legend of change continues to inspire poems, songs and art across generations. she represents beauty, devotion and the longing for eternal love.

When we look up the moon, her story reminds us that even in separation, love never fades, it simply shines from afar and imagine change graceful figure floating among the clouds her heart forever watching over the world below.........
